Big News from the Print Shop: Our Latest Aquisition!

We're excited to share a big upgrade in our little print world—the print shop has welcomed a new workhorse: a Challenge Titan 200 Pro paper cutter!

For those who love the behind-the-scenes magic of letterpress printing, this is a game-changer for us. The Titan 200 Pro is a precision hydraulic paper cutter designed for accuracy, speed, and safety. In a craft that celebrates detail and hand-finished quality, having the right cutter is just as important as having the right press.

Built by the Challenge Machinery Company, which has been in operation in the USA since 1870, this cutter is the perfect machine for us…small footprint and fully hydraulic.

Why does this matter? With this new cutter (we have affectionantly named her Phoebe), we can now cut stacks of paper with laser-aligned precision—clean edges, tighter tolerances, and faster turnarounds. Being fully hydraulic (leveraging 2500 lbs of pressure for both clamping and cutting) we can cut larger stacks with absolute precision and zero paper creep. This machine is also programmable, mmaking it easier for us to cut consistently with a great deal of precision, stack to stack to stack.

Whether it's trimming custom wedding invitations, business and calling cards, or art prints, this cutter lets us handle jobs with even more consistency and care. And we’re excited! Probably more than we ought to be about a piece of equipment ;)
